Tencel Lyocell
TENCEL ™ Lyocell is the functional fiber from Lenzing in Austria. It is mainly made from eucalyptus wood that is grown in sustainable forestry. The fiber production itself is particularly environmentally friendly due to a closed cycle and represents the greatest achievement in cellulose fiber technology.
The fabric impresses with its particularly soft, flowing drape, silkiness, lies cool and soft on the skin and is exceptionally comfortable to wear.
According to the manufacturer, textiles made from TENCEL ™ are more absorbent than cotton, gentler than silk and cooler than linen. In addition, TENCEL ™ is biodegradable and compostable. The best moisture absorption combined with optimal skin sensory properties are the guarantee for feel-good textiles made from TENCEL ™.
wunderwek premium TENCEL ™
Together with the manufacturer, wunderwerk has developed an exclusive, particularly fine TENCEL ™ Lyocell quality that far exceeds “ordinary” Lyocell fibers in terms of fineness and softness. In the manufacturing process, the toxic chemicals chlorine and even formaldehyde, which can be used in the fibers of conventional lyocell, are completely dispensed with. To emphasize this unique quality, the products are awarded wunderwerk premium-TENCEL ™.
Wunderwerk also uses different fiber blends, which combine the positive properties of the different fibers depending on the use and season, in order to achieve the best possible comfort for you.
