2014: By winning the prestigious Federal Ecodesign Award in the "Product" category, wunderwerk has proven that its products have already reached an exceptionally high level in terms of fashion and sustainability since its foundation. Especially in the textile industry, which is one of the dirtiest industries in the world. It is particularly noteworthy that numerous corporations such as Mercedes-Benz, Frosch, Osram, Metro were among the applicants for this award.

"This is one of the few, absolutely ecological fashion collections that made it into large-scale series." said the laudatory speech by jury member Dr Kirsten Brodde of GREENPEACE. Delivered for the first time in 2013 and then such an award, it blew us all away.

2015: The PETA Vegan Fashion Award in the category 'Best Business Ladies' was awarded to wunderwerk for its animal-friendly and sustainable fashion. A great award, as PETA is extremely committed to animal welfare.

2019: In May, our wunderwerk shop in Frankfurt on Bergerstrasse was named “Store of the Day” by Textilwirtschaft, Europe's largest trade magazine.

2020: our shop on Sylt was honoured as “Store of the Day” by Textilwirtschaft, Europe's largest trade magazine.

2021: wunderwerk founder Heiko Wunder was honoured with the Fashion Business Award from the city of Düsseldorf, an award that brands such as Marc Cain and Breuninger have previously received. This award once again emphasised that fashion and sustainability are not a contradiction in terms and that stylish, contemporary fashion can indeed be produced sustainably. The laudators, Lord Mayor Dr Stephan Keller and former mentor Dietmar Schiemann, also shared personal insights and made the award an extraordinary event. Fittingly, the Düsseldorf shop in Flingern received the “Recommended” label from Mr Düsseldorf for the first time this year, with more to follow.

2022: wunderwerk wins the Sustainability Star Award at this year's OTTO for Business Market Awards, which are presented as part of the Partner Connect Day, and once again impresses as a fashion brand with uncompromising sustainability. wunderwerk has only been present on the online platform since the end of April 2022 and was able to win over customers in a very short time. This is despite the fact that the sales prices are higher than those of many other providers due to the quality, sustainable manufacturing processes and production, particularly within the EU.

2023: On 21 July, wunderwerk jeans ‘Collien’ received the Green Product Award Fashion EDITORS CHOICE. ‘The green business model of the entire company is very admirable and inspiring. wunderwerk tackles a major problem in the fashion industry (denim production) and offers sustainable options for less waste and pollution.’ This was the official statement from the jury of the Green Product Award Fashion.

2024: In October, one of our wunderwerk shops was honoured as “Store of the Day” by Textilwirtschaft for the third time, this year our shop in Düsseldorf-Unterbilk. It also received the “Recommended Label” award from Mr Düsseldorf for a second time.
